Make Your Own Silver Ring with Mairi

Join me in my jewellery studio for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll make your own solid silver ring.

This experience is about slowing down, working with your hands, and creating something meaningful, whether that’s a set of rings for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone else.

No previous jewellery-making experience is required.

The Experience

During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the full process of making your own silver ring, working with traditional hand tools at the bench.

You’ll learn how to:

• Measure and size your ring correctly

• Form and shape solid sterling silver

• Solder the ring

• File, sand, and polish to a beautiful finish

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a ring made entirely by you.

Workshops are kept small and informal, with plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout.

The class is at her home studio just outside Kilrea, unfortunately there is no public transport available. The class will last around 2.5-3 hours. If you have any mobility/ dexterity issues please make Mairi aware of this in advance of booking.
